Activated Carbon derived from Coconut Shells is the superior choice for high-end adsorption applications. Unlike coal or wood-based carbon, coconut shell carbon is characterized by a vast network of micropores (pores smaller than 2 nm), making it exceptionally efficient for trapping small molecules like chlorine, VOCs, and gold cyanide complexes.
Ruvon's Activated Carbon is produced by steam activation of premium coconut shells. This process creates a carbon with high hardness and low dust, which is critical for gold recovery and water filters where breakdown of granules leads to pressure drop and loss of material.
