R-996 Grade
The industry's premier white pigment, known for its exceptional opacity, high brightness, and superior durability. The Rutile R-996 grade is specially surface-treated with Zirconia and Alumina for excellent dispersion and weather resistance.
Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) is the most widely used white pigment because of its brightness and very high refractive index (2.7), which is surpassed only by diamond. Ruvon International supplies the Rutile form, which is more stable and has higher hiding power than the Anatase form.
Our R-996 grade is a Zirconia and Alumina treated rutile pigment produced by the sulfate process. It is characterized by high gloss, high whiteness, excellent weather resistance, and easy dispersion, making it a versatile choice for solvent-based paints, powder coatings, and plastics.

Rutile Titanium Dioxide sets the global benchmark for whiteness and opacity.
