Linear Alkyl Benzene
LABSA 90% is the largest volume synthetic surfactant used globally. It is a viscous brown liquid that serves as the primary active ingredient for manufacturing detergent powders, cakes, and liquid cleaners. As a "Linear" surfactant, it is fully biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
LABSA (Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid) is an anionic surfactant known for its high detergency, moistening, foaming, and emulsifying capabilities. It is produced by the sulphonation of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB).
Our LABSA 90% is strictly controlled for Free Sulfuric Acid content to ensure stability and reduce neutralization costs.

LABSA cannot be used directly for cleaning due to its high acidity. It must be neutralized with an alkali (base) to form the water-soluble salt (Sodium Salt). This reaction is highly exothermic (generates heat).
The main active ingredient for spray-dried and mixing-process washing powders.
Provides the binding and cleaning properties in laundry detergent bars.
Neutralized to form the base for Dishwash Liquids and Floor Cleaners.
Used as a mercerizing and washing agent in the textile industry.
Used to improve the solubility of agricultural sprays (as Calcium Salt).
Heavy-duty degreasing for machinery and institutional cleaning.
Standard blue plastic drums suitable for acid handling.
For bulk automated dosing systems.
LABSA is a strong organic acid. Direct contact can cause burns.
Direct from Manufacturer. High Active Matter for superior detergent formulations.
