Soap Noodles 80:20 80:20 Premium Blend
Base: Sodium Palmitate + Sodium Cocoate

Soap Noodles

Standard 80:20 Blend (TFM 78%)

Soap Noodles are the primary raw material for manufacturing toilet soap bars. Ruvon supplies the premium 80:20 Blend (80% Palm Oil + 20% Palm Kernel/Coconut Oil). This specific ratio offers the perfect balance of hardness, cleansing power, and rich lather, making it the industry standard for high-quality bath soaps.

Total Fatty Matter (TFM) 78.0% Min
Blend Ratio 80:20 (PO:PKO)
Color Snow White

Product Overview

Soap noodles are made by saponifying vegetable oils (Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil) with Sodium Hydroxide. The resulting "noodles" are ready to be mixed with fragrances, colors, and additives, then extruded into final soap bars.

  • Snow White Color: Our noodles are bleached to ensure a pure white base, allowing vibrant colors in the final soap.
  • Excellent Binding: The 80:20 ratio ensures the soap bar is hard, durable, and doesn't crack easily.
  • Vegetable Origin: 100% plant-based, free from animal fats (tallow), making it suitable for Halal and Vegan certifications.

Mechanism: Why 80:20 Ratio?

The Perfect Balance of C16 and C12

Soap needs to do two things: Clean (Lather) and Last Long (Hardness). One oil cannot do both perfectly.

  • The "80" (Palm Oil): Palm oil is rich in C16/C18 fatty acids (Palmitic/Stearic). These provide Structure and Hardness. If you use too much, the soap is hard but won't lather.
  • The "20" (Coconut/PKO): Palm Kernel Oil is rich in C12 fatty acid (Lauric). This provides Rich Lather and Cleaning even in hard water. If you use too much, the soap dissolves too fast.
  • Result: 80:20 is the scientifically optimized ratio for a premium bath soap that lasts long AND foams well.

Pro-Tip: Preventing Cracks

For Soap Manufacturers

Soap cracking often occurs if the noodle moisture drops below 11% during storage or processing.
Recommendation:

  • Maintain processing temperature between 35°C - 40°C in the amalgamator.
  • If noodles are dry, add 0.5% - 1.0% water during mixing to ensure proper binding in the plodder.
  • Store bags in a cool area to prevent moisture evaporation.
