Amphoteric Surfactant
CAPB is a premium amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut oil. It acts as the perfect "secondary surfactant" alongside SLES, offering mildness to the skin, excellent foam boosting, and significant viscosity building (thickening) capabilities in shampoos and body washes.
Coco Amido Propyl Betaine (CAPB) is chemically classified as an amphoteric surfactant, meaning it carries both positive and negative charges depending on the pH level. This unique property makes it compatible with all other types of surfactants (Anionic, Cationic, and Non-ionic).
Our CAPB is manufactured with controlled impurity levels (Low Free Amine) to ensure no off-odor in your final product.

One of CAPB's most valuable features is its ability to thicken anionic surfactant systems (like SLES) cheaply using Salt (Sodium Chloride). This phenomenon is known as the "Salt Curve."
Reduces static, conditions hair, and creates thick lather.
Essential for "No Tears" baby shampoos and body washes.
Provides the necessary thickness and soft skin feel.
Produces stable, long-lasting bubbles.
Mild enough for sensitive facial skin cleansing.
Used in gentle cleaning formulations for pets.
HDPE Plastic Drums (Blue). Standard packing.
Intermediate Bulk Containers for high-volume factories.
CAPB is much milder than other surfactants, but concentrated forms still require care.
Premium Low-Odor Grade. Perfect for formulating clear, high-viscosity gels.
