Virgin Grade
Mixed Xylene is a clear, colorless, aromatic hydrocarbon liquid. It is a mixture of three isomers (Ortho, Meta, Para) and Ethylbenzene. Known for its high Kauri-Butanol (KB) value, it is a much stronger solvent than Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO), making it indispensable for dissolving synthetic resins, rubber, and pesticides.
Xylene is produced by catalytic reforming of petroleum. Ruvon supplies Virgin Grade Mixed Xylene, which ensures low non-aromatic content and high evaporation consistency. It evaporates slower than Toluene, which prevents "Orange Peel" effects in paint finishes.
Conforms to IS 359:1965 (Reaffirmed) Grade.

"Mixed Xylene" is a cocktail of three siblings (Isomers). They have the same formula but different shapes.
Thinner for alkyd resins, enamels, and varnishes. Replaces Toluene where slower drying is needed.
Solvent carrier for emulsifiable concentrates (EC) of insecticides and herbicides.
Used in rotogravure and flexographic inks to dissolve resins and control drying speed.
Solvent for rubber cements and contact adhesives. Swells rubber for processing.
Added to petrol/gasoline to increase octane number and engine performance.
Raw material for producing Phthalic Anhydride, Isophthalic Acid, and Terephthalic Acid.
Standard heavy-duty steel drums. Reconditioned or New.
Bulk supply (15-20 MT) for large paint and pesticide factories.
Xylene is a Class 3 Flammable Liquid (Flash Point ~27°C).
Virgin Grade Solvent. High KB Value. Bulk & Drum Packing.
