Cyclohexane is the starting point for the polyamide industry. Approximately 90% of global cyclohexane production is consumed in the manufacture of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. It undergoes oxidation to produce Cyclohexanone and Cyclohexanol (KA Oil), which are then further processed into Caprolactam (for Nylon 6) and Adipic Acid (for Nylon 6,6). Ruvon's high-purity grade ensures maximum yield in these catalytic oxidation processes.
