14.2 PPG Density
Calcium Bromide Liquid is a high-density, solids-free clear brine fluid. It is extensively used in the Oil & Gas industry as a completion and workover fluid. Its high density allows it to control formation pressures effectively while preventing formation damage caused by solids.
Ruvon's Calcium Bromide 52% is a single-salt brine. It can be mixed with Zinc Bromide (ZnBr2) or Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) to adjust density and crystallization points for specific well conditions. Being solids-free, it ensures that the permeability of the oil reservoir is not blocked, maximizing oil recovery.

Normal water weighs 8.33 PPG (Pounds Per Gallon). Calcium Bromide weighs 14.2 PPG. This massive density difference is crucial.
Used during the final stages of well preparation to ensure the wellbore is clean and stable before production begins.
Left in the annular space between the tubing and casing to provide pressure balance and corrosion protection over the life of the well.
